All I need are some jumpercables...a car battery....and some steel wool

So once again the United States brutal interrogation tactics are in the news. It has come to light that at prisoners participating in hunger strikes at Guantanamo Bay have been force fed, a nasty little practice that involves being strapped to a chair and a tube inserted through the nose. In reading about this and other methods that you don't tell your congressman about, I came across an interesting article in Harper's. This outlined how the US gained information that allowed them to kill Abu Musab al-Zarqawi through other means of interrogation. I would recommend that you take a look at this overview of the article because the actual article requires a subscription. Seems that finally we may be on the right track in gaining information from prisoners.
